4/29/12 Just Checking In

Right off the bat I'm going to say that I am sure hoping this not earning any points yesterday or today is a gather glitch and tomorrow it will be fixed.  Otherwise if they were going to do away with us earning points it should have been announced early on to let us know.

I'm sorry to day that as much as I love my friend here and the other things I have gained from gather....I need to be doing things that are earning.

With that said, things are going alright.

Yesterday was my son's birthday and we had a bbq in the park.  It was a nice day despite too much wind.  He's 29 now.

We had a great rain overnight and this morning.  The gardens really needed it.

I'm officially hired on now to do the merchandising job at Walmart.  It will be nice to get those little paychecks coming in every other week.  Hopefully most of them I can save towards getting myself something else to drive.

I'm going to have a full day tomorrow.  I have quilt guild all morning, then all afternoon I am taking part in a workshop to learn a new quilting method.  Sometime I also have to get in the job at Walmart too.

I am busily updating squidoo lenses.  They are really cracking down on the copyright issue so all lenses have to be updated to include citings of where info came from along with attribution for any photos that are not our own.  It doesn't matter if the photos are in the public domain, they still want wording to reflect that.  I also found at that we are no longer allowed to have full poems or song lyrics within the lenses either.  We have to just have a snip it then a link out to where the rest of the lyrics can be found.  I have a LOT of work ahead of me!

In case you hadn't heard, jingit is back in action.  .50 ads but you can do the same one multiple times in a day.  In fact, you can reach your weekly limit in just one day if you wish.  They also raised the maximum you can make in a week from $10 to $15.  My current max is $11.50 a week until I can find some more referrals.   If you are interested in signing up please let me know!  You do need a facebook account and a cell phone to sign up.

Nothing much else to exciting going on with me.....just hoping the points come back here  :)
