Last year, immediately after we returned home from Disney World, Kyleigh wanted to go back right away! I promised her we will go to Disney World once a year until she grows out of it.
For months and months, she has been asking, "When are we going to Disney World again?" And I keep on telling her, "300 more days." But she knows how to count! And my "300 days" excuse doesn't work all that well any more.
So yesterday I finally started looking at the prices, and today I booked everything (except for the actual theme park tickets). The airfare had gone up a few bucks in a day but still under $300 per person. I booked a different hotel this time because I did not like the resort we stayed at last time at all. The new one will be an experiment because it is farther away and it will take over 30 minutes for the bus ride back and to the theme parks. I also booked three of the same character dining restaurants we went to last year, because she loved them so much.
When I booked the restaurants, I didn't check the theme park hours ahead of time. But when I checked the hours, it turns out the theme park with the magic hours (opens late) matches the theme park where the restaurants are located! Wow, I didn't even try very hard. I seriously thought it is magical.
We will be able to catch the last bit of the Star Wars Week, although we will miss the International Flower & Garden Festival. But she will have tons of fun anyway!

When our son was young, I think he's been to Disney World ten or so different times in his 25 years! The first time was in first grade, when I won an all-expense paid trip to Disney World for a week.....through our local zoo and a radio station......what an incredible win....I'd never been so lucky before......we loved it so much that we kept going back.......I even still have some VHS movies from when the kid was in first grade.....haven't ever seen them, and I just found them after they'd been "misplaced" for many years!!!!!!
Hope you have a fantastic time!
This year we are trying out the All Star Movie. I'll let everyone know how it turns out!!!
Where are your dining reservations?
