I've had trouble with gather lately. If I use it on my home computer, nothing will work. I have to clean out the cache each time I want to use facebook.
So, I am currently at the library, and on gather.
I wonder what I've missed.
I write on facebook and opendiary.
I am sure I've missed important goings on in the lives of the people I "read" regularly. Oh, and the political discussions... can't live without those...
I guess I miss the point system also.
So, what's new - I worked a lot this year - two weeks every day. I have two weeks off, then may work again for the next two weeks.
My cat - the last one I have - is VERY ill. He has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. He has to have a pill twice a day, and special food. Lately, he hasn't wanted the food - not a good sign. I've been pretty much passing my paychecks on to the vet - the money is not even staying in my account long enough to garner any interest.
I recently joined another medical study for the diabetes. This one includes Weight Watchers - a meeting a week. Basically it's a support group and conscious eating - keeping track of what you've eaten according to the WW point system. Interesting... a LOT of work. I had gone to one meeting place on my way home from work, but since I am not working this week, went to another meeting. I was able to walk there - a mile from my apartment - and it had a much warmer feel to it. So I can alternate depending on whether or not I am returning home from Brooklyn.
Aside from recommending Warm Bodies (a zombie romantic comedy), and Sun Going Down, a Western saga, not much else is new.
